Putting the super
in Super Stars
This job required us to draw some of the most recognisable faces on the globe – and a few nails were bitten as we waited for concept sketch sign-off. Then we ramped up the volume as we gave life to each portrait for these short films promoting Apple’s live radio shows. Each animation has its own mixed-media, multi-textured look to match the vibe of the artist. Ciara sends us into a fiery spin.
J Balvin drowns us in a colour wave. And the Rocket Man himself takes us on a flight through outer space.
Animation to the rescue
This project really showcased the might of our creative family – and put Australian talent on very global stage. Our capacity to create many styles is what won it for us. Under Darren’s creative direction, we pushed the limits of stylistic range, while maintaining consistency.
It was hugely collaborative adventure with the team at Apple. Mighty fun work for some really nice people.
