FLEXING
THE QUOKKA
For this new opus of the HBF Quokka campaign, we had to flex and stretch our 3D characters into crazy yoga poses! We loved the concept that the agency presented to us, and the technical challenges associated with it. It was a great opportunity for us to push these characters further and add another fun piece to our HBF collection.
Expanding the universe in which these quokka live. It was great to add a new character to the roster, create a nice sunrise environment to reinforce the vibe (usually these spots are always set in a midday light), and see them do a brand new activity together.
We had to adapt the characters into a much wider range of motion and put them into poses that the client was after.
A lot of rigging/skinning tweaks and some work on the fur was necessary to get them to look good. The editing also required quite a few versions in order to pack everything that was in the script in the 15s timeline.
