SPREAD HAPPINESS

for Meadow Lea
and The Works

“Loved ‘Spreading Happiness’ with the Mighty Nice crew. Darren is a straight up legend and Tina is a complete bad-ass. They are super easy to work with and showed why they’re the best in the business for creative character design and animation. Cheers for all the giggles and great work.”

THE WORKS

Agency

what a Mighty
meadow lea team!

What does a kids imagination look like? A bit like their own drawings or plasticine sculptures….yet better? That’s the approach we took with this fun spot for MeadowLea. The result is “the bestest picnic ever”.

The koala and fairies and gigantic sandwiches all add colour to a live action shoot filmed amongst challenging conditions during bushfires around Sydney.

Kids imaginations
are limitless!

Mixing animation with live action adds loads of interest to the spot, and taps into the fun lack of logic of the kids narrative. We wanted the imagery to be surprising and for each element to have a distinct look. The voiceovers feel like real kids coming up with ideas and the visuals just kept pace with each new idea adding more flavour. Spreading happiness!

and the most decent human beings you’ll probably ever meet…
