In 2019 rapper Mike Posner set out to walk 2800 miles across America. ‘Nothing is Wrong’ is the film clip that documents his story. Director Toby Pike was part of Mike’s support team, travelling ahead of him to set up the shots we would later animate over. We felt we were along for the ride too, as we kept in frequent contact with Toby to plan the art for the film clip.

A key feature was the CG animated rattle snake. This beast was brought onto the screen after Mike’s real-life run-in which saw him airlifted to hospital, pausing his walk for several weeks.

‘Into the Wild’ met ‘walking on water’ for the rising of this funky techno Jesus. Splashes of colour were dropped into the music to punctuate Mike’s spiritual journey and create the feeling that there’s ‘something more’ to life on earth than meets the eye.
