The Australian $20 note is already a beautifully illustrated design, growing our world from this design style and colour palette was a logical step. John Flynn is cleverly built in 3D but we replicated the vintage lithograph style of the note. The modern Life Flight Jet is rendered in shiny and slick 3D to add contrast between the old and the new.

We partnered with Marcel Sydney for Rio Tinto’s cause campaign for the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS). And the money speaks for itself! You’ve probably never paid attention to the face on the $20 note. It belongs to Reverend John Flynn, founder of the RFDS. We helped Marcel Sydney to “bring him to life” with a mobile experience that uses new AR technology.
