“The Girl Effect organisation has admirably mastered the art of creating short and powerful videos that inspire and move both old and new supporters. With excellent animation and a wonderful soundtrack, it’s no wonder that they have captured the imaginations of viewers all over the world, encouraging them to start conversations and make change happen.”

strength in
numbers

We took inspiration from traditional arts and craft of the African nations, plus modern curved shapes. The circle motif had already been established by the existing design and animations for Girl Effect. It is a perfect symbol for cyclical benefits of the Girl Effect program. In a pattern, a circle can represent community and strength.

The Girl Effect is a movement that reveals the potential of 600 million adolescent girls to end poverty for themselves and the world. Less than two cents of every international aid dollar spent in the developing world is earmarked for girls.

awareness

The Girl Effect focuses on girls between the ages of 12 and 22 because when girls reach adolescence, opportunities are won or lost, often for a lifetime.
