dynamic collisions form the
perfect chocolate bar
The brief from the agency called for simple, clear and dynamic spots. One aimed at pitting the two ingredients against each other, escalating into epic proportions. The other would make use of classic rom-com tropes to show the ingredients blend together lovingly.
For the first spot, we developed several representations of the ingredients, and made use of whip-pans to gradually crank up the intensity of the shots. We went from collision, to wave, to avalanche, to tornado before joining our two ingredients to form the chocolate bar.
For the second spot, we tried to infuse the movements of the ingredients with grace and elegance, and ramped up the shots and compositions into an intertwining crescendo. We thought both ideas were excellent creative objectives and had a blast exploring how we would make this come to life.

Cookies 'n' Creme
crash with elegance
This project was a great combo of food, FX and typography that required subtle touches in order to achieve the right balance. Finding ideas to visually convey some of the concepts they wanted to express was great fun.
Figuring out how different matters can move and interact in a believable manner was also super interesting. We made the styleframes pretty dynamic, as that's what the scripts called for, and it seems we hit the nail on the head.
