A psychedelic trip
worth taking

You know what makes for a trippy day? A little brand called Nike sliding into your DMs. That’s right. No door knocking. No cold calls. No pitching. Just a polite request for some creative magic for their Psychedelic Lava kicks.
The world's most recognisable shoe brand approached us after they saw Halloween Kitty on our Instagram account – a team bonding exercise that started as a nice idea and took on a weird little life of its own.
The creative process for Halloween Kitty looked something like this:
1. “This is fun.”
2. “This feels like hard work.”
3. “Why did we do this?!”
Thankfully, the diversion paid off for us – quite literally – with the Nike collab.

Somehow this statement became true for us. First, a funny ad for an inflatable cat toy to make your kitty look evil. Next, rendering some fancy kicks.
Nike had seen our Halloween post and reached out to us to do something similar with the character printed inside their shoes. And look. We’re not going to play it cool: It was amazing.
A lovely reminder that sometimes it is worth investing in some creative/ experimental play for the fun of it.
