Small in size, huge in fun!
Ty’s Beanie Bouncers took over the Las Vegas Sphere for Licensing Expo 2025 with a special animated show, produced by Nexus Studios and animated by Mighty Nice.
Characters from the worlds of Lilo and Stitch, Paw Patrol, Bluey and Spiderman lit up the Vegas sky, offering visitors an opportunity to check out the plush-meets-bouncing-ball collection as they bounced across the world’s largest LED screen.
Celebrating the aliveness of spring, the animation focuses on macro details like facial expressions and the fur in motion to build feelings of pure joy and uncontainable excitement. Sunrise warms the scene. Butterflies come in and flowers bloom. One by one, the Beanie Bouncers “pop” towards camera. They bounce around the environment in exhilaration, smiling, shaking and rolling to gradually build a sense of fun, culminating in an epic moment of pure joy as a Bouncer from each world surges closer to camera for a full frame takeover.
The Sphere’s unique 360 canvas presented an exciting creative challenge. The characters needed to feel immersed in the world, bouncing freely around the spherical environment without becoming distorted or losing recognisability. Each Beanie Bouncer was animated and rendered from a normal perspective camera, then mapped to the Sphere during the composite stage.
